Skyfuel is seeking a reliable and proactive Yard Hand to join our team at our Bansktown (NSW) site. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, keeping things organised, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
About the Role
As a Yard Hand, you’ll be responsible for supporting general site operations, including the organisation of equipment, packing and preparing items for transport, and maintaining a clean and tidy workspace. You’ll work closely with the site team to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading trucks, vans, and other vehicles using forklifts or manual handling.
- Organising and Storing Items within the yard and office space to maintain a clean and efficient environment.
- Packing and Preparing Items for moving, including boxing, palletising, and securing goods.
- Assisting with Moving items around the site or between locations.
- General Yard Maintenance, including sweeping, clearing debris, and ensuring safety standards are upheld.
Qualifications & Requirements

- Be able to work autonomously or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Present neatly and professionally.
- Have a grounded and practical personality.
- Be proactive and able to think ahead.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- Be a team player with strong communication skills.
- Have solid time-management and organisational abilities.
- Hold a full and current driver’s licence.
Skills & Experience
- Current Driver Licence preferred
- Forklift Licence preferred
- Ability to prioritise tasks and learn quickly.
- Punctual, meticulous, and reliable.
Additional Details
- Some overtime may be required Monday to Friday.
- This is a casual position based at our Bankstown (NSW) site.
